Adrian and I had talked about "when we're married" but we had never talked about actually getting married. So it was a complete surprise when he DID propose. We were away on a little "getaway" camping trip. While hiking, we stopped for a picnic near this giant tree with a beautiful view of the ocean. The fog was just clearing. As Adrian unloaded the picnic goodies from his pack, the ring box fell out and landed right at my feet! It wasn't quite how he had planned it but it was still very sweet and romantic. He immediately dropped to his knee, picked up the box and asked me to marry him!
