Latest Update on St John Church Parking 

 

St John Venue is a historical site and holds a small capcity of people. It is located in the gated area of Sam Houston Park, the parking space is located off of Clay St in the Kellum-Noble Parking Lot. It can get a bit confusing but if you miss it and find yourself on Allen Parkway you can circle back and the parking will be on the right. 

Latest Update on House of Blues Parking

Unfortunately, we could not decrease the valet parking price as it is not managed by House of Blues. However, there is a charge of $15.00 for valet parking if you cannot find parking in the adjacent lot from the House of Blues.

 

 

Hello Everyone~

 

Well it's the final week and we are just about done with all the final touches. I've been getting alot of questions regarding hotel, dress attire and so forth... As you all know we didn't want this to be a "formal" wedding and we just want to have fun which is why we chose "House of Blues" and not a Hall, so don't the intimidated by all the formalities. Just dress as if you were going out to a nice dinner. I do believe there are still rooms available at the Hyatt Regency as well. I have been told the Hyatt has Valet Parking fee of $30 but there is parking in the adjacent parking lot. If you booked the room through the Torres/Sanchez Weblink, there is early early arrival attached to those bookings.

St. John Church holds a very small capacity so please know that we will not be offeneded if you choose to meet and greet us at the reception.

House of Blues will be opening the doors at 6:45 pm. We will arrive no later than 7:30, so please have a drink and snack until we get there!

Hope everyone's excited just as we are!!

 

We are setting everything in stone and making the last preparations. I just wanted to write an update.

 

As you all know our wedding is on Good Friday (April 3rd) and we know many of you all will be working. However, please do not be deterred!! If you cannot make the ceremony at 5 p.m., we still want to see you at the "Party" which does not start until 7 p.m.

Since we are looking forward to our future and saving for an early retirement, we decided not to make this a formal wedding but instead one small but fun celebration to share with our family and loved ones.
