Kimberly & Justin

On September 7, 2001 two unsuspecting 16-year-olds crossed paths, and were forever changed by the encounter. This first meeting created a bond that, unknown at the time, was unbreakable. For a while, Justin and Kimberly were inseparable. While going to different high schools, they kept in touch by phone. Kimberly's phone call was expected promptly as Justin walked into his house every single day after school. As time went by, these two kids grew up and found separate lives in separate places. Justin set off to many conquests in his favorite fields; taxidermy, fishing, archery... and always landed in the comfort and familiarity of the family farm on Moss Creek Road. To Justin, there was nothing quite like the feeling of home. Kimberly, however, escaped to places exciting and unfamiliar in an effort to find her true calling. Sporadically in touch with Justin, she continued to believe the world had more to offer than Danville, Arkansas.
During 14 years of separate ups and downs, the ever-growing physical distance between these two was no match for the invisible rope that tied them together. At every chance, Kimberly would find Justin and they would catch up on one another's very different lives. She was a free bird; impossible to maintain, while he was steady as a rock; immoveable and infallible throughout the years. On April 3, 2015 Kimberly found herself in Danville once again. Seeking the comfort and steadiness of the best friend she knew would be there, she found her way to that gorgeous farm on Moss Creek Road. The two of them caught up and shared laughs just like every visit before.
Only this time... she never left...
