| We cut, folded, tied, and pinned together our invitations tonight! You ALL shall be expecting them in the mail soon enough! We saved a total of nearly $1000.00! We are so thankful we went this route. It was perfect couple-time spent together and lots of money saved! ![]()
Today we found out the brain tumor Chris has is actually benign. They have labeled it as an arachnoid cyst. There is nothing to be concerned about at this point in time. There is rare infection on the outside of his skull, which is what can be seen. But, at this point in time the neurosurgeon gave us the clear to plan our wedding, get married, and to fly on our honeymoon!
We both have learned a lot traveling through all this. It is scary to wake up one day and your whole world stops. We got to experience this rollercoaster together, and we honestly would not change anything about it. We both have learned to appreciate one another more and not take life for granted. Cause one day you're planning a wedding and the next day you're getting ready for chemo and radiation treatments.
Love one another deeply and with all you have!
![]() And so it begins... We were able to stay inside and cuddled up on the couch, researching what to do it Italy, where, and when!? We decided today! We are flying from Chicago into Rome. From Rome, we will take a short hour flight into Venice. Ah...the wonderful island life and the most romantic city in the world. We shall spend almost a week in Venice, touring also Lido, Murano, and Burano. From Venice, we shall fly into Naples. We will tour Naples and Pompeii. From this point of interest, we are driving or taking a train down the Amalfi Coast and the Island of Capri. We plan to spend the rest of the honeymoon around this area, touring the nearby locations and sights. We are looking into possibly flying to the island of Sardinia or possibly taking a boat to the island. We shall sea! :) We plan to honeymoon a total of two weeks! |
